Although it is a very short period of time, losing ten pounds in three days can be achieved simply by modifying your diet. Carbohydrates, saturated fats and calories need to be reduced significantly in order for you to lose ten pounds in three days. These foods should be replaced with low-fat alternatives that are rich in protein. To lose weight quickly, it is essential that you ingest no more than 1500 calories each day.

1. Replace starchy carbohydrates.

Such as potatoes, white rice and pasta, with low glycemic index options. Beans and brown rice are good replacements for starchy carbohydrates.

2. Fill your diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables.
